Advancing Lawyer Well-Being in Massachusetts (2020–2026)
For more than six years, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Standing Committee on Lawyer Well-Being worked to improve the health, well-being, and sustainability of the legal profession throughout the Commonwealth.
Effective June 30, 2026, the Standing Committee has concluded its work as part of the Supreme Judicial Court's broader restructuring of its standing committees.
While the Committee's work has concluded, we hope the research, resources, and recommendations developed over the past six years continue to support lawyers, judges, legal employers, educators, and organizations committed to creating a healthier legal profession.
Thank you to the hundreds of volunteers, judges, attorneys, bar leaders, educators, researchers, and organizations whose dedication made this work possible.
