The beginning of 2021 marks the first full year of the Standing Committee. In celebration of this milestone, we are excited to share our First-Year Report!
We hope this gives you renewed motivation to keep up this momentum in 2021 and continue to increase awareness of and improve well-being in the legal profession together.
In addition to our Report, we have a few announcements:
Well-Being Week in Law. Mark your calendars for this year's Well-Being Week in Law from May 3 to May 7. More information available here.
Mentorship Programs. We are building a mentorship database and launching a statewide mentorship program. If you run a mentorship program and would like it added to the publicly-accessible database, please submit it here. If you are interested in serving as a mentor or joining as a mentee in our statewide program, please sign up here.
Legal Well-Being Network. We invite you to attend our next Legal Well-Being Network (LWBN) meeting on February 9 from 1 to 2:30pm. Register here. The LWBN is for interested lawyers, legal professionals, and HR professionals serving the legal community to connect and share best practices, ideas, challenges, and vision to improve the well-being of all attorneys in Massachusetts.

Mindfulness in Law Society (MILS). In addition to regular MILS meetings and Mindful Monday Virtual Sits, MILS is also offering new anti-racism programming in collaboration with the National Black Law Students Association. More information, here.
Mass. Historical Society (MHS). In collaboration with Northeastern University School of Law, MHS is hosting a series of presentations titled “Confronting Racial Injustice,” addressing how Massachusetts’ history contributes to its current structures of racial inequity. More information, here.
