If you are experiencing troubles accessing and completing the survey, please follow the steps below. If you are still unable to complete the survey, please email demographic-survey@lawyerwellbeingma.org.

Step 1: Browser

Confirm that you are using one of the supported browsers to complete your attorney registration. The browsers currently supported by the BBO are listed below:

  • Apple Safari (updated to latest version)

  • Google Chrome (updated to latest version)

  • Microsoft Edge (Windows 10 only)

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 11

  • Mozilla Firefox (updated to latest version)

Step 2: Registration Process

To begin the registration process, please use this link: https://www.massbbo.org/CommunitiesLogin/. If that link is still giving you an error, please try this link to log in to the BBO: https://www.massbbo.org/AttorneyRegistrationIntermediary

Once you log in on that page, you should be able to click "Attorney Registration" in the top right of the screen next to your name, as shown in the red circle below:

You should then see the following screen:

Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers.png

Once you click on "Registration Renewals," you should see this screen:

From there, you are required to click "Take Demographic Survey" in the middle of the page and complete the survey before you can continue to complete the registration process.

If a new window does not open with the survey included, your browser may be set to block pop-up windows (an indication will likely appear near the URL bar when you click the "Take Demographic Survey" button if this is the issue). In that case, you will need to either (a) change the settings on your browser to permit the survey to be displayed, or (b) try registering using a different browser. If those options still don't work, we would suggest using a different internet connection (home, for example, since certain internet connections block the third-party website from loading), or a different device entirely.

Once you've accessed the pop-up window with the Survey, the outer scroll bar for the pop-up window won't scroll down, but there should be an inner scroll bar that will scroll down, allowing you to go through the survey and answer all the required questions. For clarity, please see the screenshot below that shows the scroll bar respondents should be moving to complete and submit the survey:
